His Word is Bond

Wisdom for Today

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name I WILL DO IT. John 14:13-14


In today’s society it is very rare to find someone that keeps their word. They say one thing and do another. Back in the day, if someone gave you their word, you could shake on it. Nowadays, when someone gives you their word, you want it in writing.


There is one who will give you their word and never take it back. There is one when He speaks it happens. There is one when he opens His mouth, watch out; it’s going to take place. But many people don’t believe He can deliver what he says. His Word says faith pleases Him and if you have faith, you can speak to your situation and it will change. His Word says He gave you favor with man and no matter what they say, God can change their minds just for you. His Word says he gave you His peace, so why are you still in turmoil. His Word says His grace is sufficient for you, so you have His strength to go through. His Word says He did not leave you helpless, so why are you trying to handle things on your own. His Word says that when you walk through the valley of test and trials, fear not, for He is with you.


So many of His children only trust the word of someone near and dear to them and even a stranger, but why is it hard to believe God. You may say, but that seems too good to be true or is it just that simple? Guess what it is that simple, but you have to have faith to believe. When He said I take pleasure in the prosperity of my children, He meant it. When He said He shall supply all your needs He meant it.




Here’s a challenge, take a need, find a promise, stand on, pray it and except Him to fulfill it. And when doubt comes remind Him of his Word for His word is bond. He will do it.
