It’s Time to be Faithful

Wisdom to Change
And I am thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful…1 Timothy 1:12

Faith is a faithful person in very thing she does. She get’s up early to make sure everyone is taken care of and their needs are met. She arrives to work early, back from lunch on time and faithful to complete her duties. Faith is faithful to come home and help the children complete their homework and upkeep the duties of her home. She’s also faithful to her friends whenever they need her. Wow, Faith is faithful or is she?

What’s your definition of faithful? I read several definitions but the one that really stood out was loyal. Was Faith loyal to God, in her prayer life, spending time in the Word, loyal in her worship, praise and Thanksgiving to the Father? Faith was not faithful in the things of God; she was faithful in making herself busy. God created us for His pleasure, but does He find pleasure in us? Do we make His heart glad and satisfied with our life, in what we say and things we do? Let me ask you a question, are you loyal in keeping the commandments. Are you loyal in keeping the covenant God made with us? Are you loyal to thank Him when you’re going through the storms? Are you loyal to give thanks only when God does something for you? Or are you loyal to man when you get something in return? Don’t be like the world, do for me then I’ll do for you.

It’s time to be faithful. Faithful to God in everything we say and do, along with our devotion and worship to Him. Today, ask yourself this question can God say this about me, Son/Daughter I have found you faithful. Let’s remain faithful, so on that great and notable day, He can say this about you, well done thy good and FAITHFUL servant.

Have a Beautiful Day
