Wisdom to Change The Hooks and Bait The commandment of the Lord is pure, ENLIGHTENING the eyes. Psalms 19:8 Have you ever gone fishing and caught one? Well, I have gone fishing, but I haven't caught anything. I find fishing to be a relaxing and exciting sport. When I prepare to fish I make sure I have my bait, the hook are in good condition and there’s enough wire on the fishing rod. Also I make sure I’m in the right spot at the right time in order to catch me some fish. I know what time to go out and I even know when the catfish are biting. Put some chicken liver on your hook and they come biting. Did you know the enemy loves to go fishing, too? But what he fishes for is your soul. He uses a variety of bait in order to lead God’s children into sin. I decided I wanted to know what type of bait and hooks; he has in his tackle box. I noticed he had many hooks. There were jig hooks, worm hooks, spring treble hooks and a lot of triple grip hooks. I over heard the enemy talking about the jig hook. He explained in detail this hook is used to hook them in the mouth and up through their backs. He likes these hooks because whatever bait he uses, they can’t get loose. The bait he uses on the jig hook is fear, wrong doctrine, and misuse of scriptures, resentment, bitterness, offenses, revenge, anger, loneliness, gossip, slander, betrayal and spiritual blindness. One of his other helpers and crew really like the worm hook because it's easy to use, not much effort is used in deceiving individuals and they hook them up fast and multiple catches, back to back. The bait they use is stubborn, unforgiveness, hopelessness, doubt, worry, anxiety, impatient, fear, unbelief and apathy. The spring treble hook penetrates the toughest mouths and this hook is sharp and really holds the bait on it and when they bite they can’t let go. The bait they use is disobedience, rebellion, suicidal thoughts, depression, despair, heaviness, self-pity and inner hurts. Without fail this hook and bait always gets its victim. And last but not least, the triple grip hook is the most dangerous hook because it has 3 hooks on it and he has plenty of these hooks in his tackle box. The bait used on this hook is the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the pride of life. The enemy loves the triple grip hook for the time we are living in and additional bait of familiar spirits, lying spirits, perverse spirits, spirit of bondage, seducing spirits, spirit of error and spirit of infirmity is used. The enemy uses bait that’s always disguised to look inviting. Now, if you do get hooked, the Father has provided a way of escape through His Word. Pray, read, meditate, study His Word, resist the devil and he will flee and get hooked up with people that are stronger than you. Choose your words carefully when you speak. Connect with people that believe in the power of pray and not afraid to take a stand for what’s right. As you do these things, this will allow you to see the bait he's trying to catch you with. Listen, there are many hooks out there dangling in front of us that look inviting, but if we keep God's commandments, stay on the path and obey we will not be caught off guard. Listen to the voice of the good Shepherd and run from the voice of the enemy because your life depends on it. Have a Beautiful Day

Making Wise Decisions
Making Wise Decisions Heavenly Father, I thank you that I have been granted a spirit of wisdom and revelation, and I have insight into your ways of doing things. I yield to the direction of the Holy Spirit for every decision I must make. My spiritual eyes are flooded with light. I know what to do in every situation I face; I am never lost when it comes to making the right decisions. Thank You that I am filled with the knowledge of Your will for my life and I make wise choices. I acknowledge You before making any decisions, and I seek Your direction at all times. I am willing to stop if You tell me to stop or go when You tell me to go. Because I acknowledge You, You direct my footsteps, and I remain in the perfect will of God for my life. The Word is my final authority, and every choice I make lines up with it. I will not disregard the peace of God in helping me to make decisions. I align my life with your Word, and therefore, I will remain connected to Your best for my life. Thank You for giving me Your Word and Your Holy Spirit, who guides me into all truth. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen. Have a Beautiful Day
You Don’t Have To
Wisdom to Change You Don’t Have To The Spirit of God dwells within you 1 Corinthians 3:16 What’s bothering me? Is it something somebody said or did? Why do I allow things to rattle, bug, confuse and get me off track? Why do I get angry? Why can’t I get past this? Why can’t I shake this off? Why don’t they just leave me alone? Why, why, why? As I pondered on these questions and more, I realized something, when anyone tried to rattle, bug, bring confusion and make Jesus angry, he always drew from the strength within him. How was this possible? When my spouse says things that just get up under my skin an irritating co-worker, how can I not get angry? I really want to say something! Just this week, I realized I was not walking in faith. You see, the God kind of faith will draw from the peace within and look at things differently. Faith will draw from the peace within. Faith will draw from the love within. Faith will draw from the strength within. Now, don’t tell me you can’t do it. The bible that I read says I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHICH GIVES ME STRENGTH! I don’t have to be rattled because I have a stabilizer built within me. It’s called strength. In Psalms 29:11 it says, The Lord will give strength to His people. I am His people. I don’t have to be bugged because I have the peace of God. This peace He gave me goes beyond my limits, my power, my capacity and understanding. I don’t have to be confused about N-O-T-H-I-N-G, because the Father is not confused. He lives in me and as long as I draw from the power and strength within, I don’t have to be confused about anything. And last but not least, anger. Anger is an emotion that if not dealt with can get out of hand. I realize I can keep my emotions in check according to the Word. In Ephesians 4:31 let ALL bitterness, wrath, ANGER, clamor and evil speaking BE PUT AWAY from you, with all malice. You see, Paul said put it away from you. There must be something wrong to hold onto to anger. When people, loved ones, family members or whoever try to rattle, bug and make you angry, tap into the strength, the peace and the love that’s within from the Spirit of God. You are not alone in this because Jesus said I will never leave you or forsake you. You got a friend, a friend that sticks closer than a brother. You don’t have to let the situation or circumstance dictate your feelings. Pray this: Father, when things tend to rattle, bug, confuse or make me angry, help me to remember to let all these things be put away from me. I will draw from the strength of your Word that guarantees me peace when I choose to receive it. Today, I will begin to walk by faith and not by my feelings and emotions which can cause me to not reflect the love of God. I will draw from Your strength and walk in love towards those who have wronged me. With Your love I will keep no record of the wrong, I will bear all things, hope all things and endure all things through Your Love. Thank you Lord, your love never fails so I will not fail with Your love inside of me. Amen! Have a Beautiful Day
Transform to Your Real Form
Wisdom to Change Transform to Your Real Form But we all with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory just as by the Spirit of the Lord. 2 Corinthians 3:18 As I was watching the movie Transformers, I noticed they came down in their true form. While here on earth in order for them not to be detected, they took on another form. As I continued to watch, I noticed they were not able to use their weapons unless they transformed into their true forms. When they would transform, they were tall, regal, and confident and packed with weapons that were out of this world. They had a way about them, they just knew they were able to conqueror anything that came their way. We also can transform by renewing our minds to the Word of God. The Word is powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword. In the bible the word is considered a sword when Paul wrote; take the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. When we renew our minds to the Word of God, we begin to transform by cutting away the old way of thinking. We begin to cut off doubt, unbelief, old wives tales, superstitions and the world’s way of thinking. When we transform our thinking, the way we talk also begins to transform. We begin to speak the results instead of what we see. If we see lack and our minds have been transformed in the Word of God, we will speak abundance. Just like Optimus Prime when he transformed from the truck to this giant robot, he had a stance of confidence and he new the power he had within. God created us just like Him, with a great mind. We have the mind of Christ and Christ never doubted anything he ever spoke or did. He also had to renew his mind in order to perform the miracles He did. When he was in the temple, he read from Isaiah chapter 11, the Spirit of the Lord is upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, The Spirit of counsel and might, The Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. This one scripture took care of everything Jesus needed to prepare Him for ministry. Just like Jesus, we have to renew our minds in order to transform our thinking and walk in the ways of the Lord. As we transform our minds by reading the Word of God and speaking the results we want, faith begins to grow, confidence brings to grow and our trust in a loving God becomes stronger. Just like Optimus Prime would say, “Auto bots roll out; I say to you, Child of God, Stand, stand in the liberty by which Christ has made us free. Have a Beautiful Day
"Speak in spite of what you see"
Wisdom to Change "Speak in spite of what you see" And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed. Luke 17:14 Many times we get discouraged because we expect instant results when we speak the Word. But we must learn that God is not in our time. Sometimes, our faith is tried. There are times when God will test us and there are times when he will do things instantly. There will be times when you will speak the Word and not see anything happen right away. You will not see results for a while. That's not the time to give in, but that's the time to hold on. Hold on to what you believe, in spite of what you see! In this passage in Luke, Jesus, who is the master healer, told the 10 lepers to go and show yourselves to the priests, which means that they were healed. But when he said it, they did not see it! The Word says that "as they went" they were healed. But because Jesus was not concerned about the outward appearance, he told them to go and show, knowing that the healing had taken place. That's the way we must operate as believers today. We must believe the Word in spite of what we see. We must believe that in time, what we believe will come to pass. God has levels and he takes us through growing times in our lives. He operates at his own pace and he considers everything. So, at times, delays are there because he is looking at things differently than we are. He is considering everything so that "All Things" may work "together" for our good and our purpose. So, that being said, we must understand that when we believe it, it's already in motion. When we speak his Word, it's just like him speaking it and it starts the process into motion and things begin to conform to our words. Understand that just because you don't see it doesn't mean that it's not happening. You have to wait at times because the process may require your patience. And other times, things may happen right away. But either way, God is God and his Word cannot lie. And when we speak his Word, it sets things in motion and the thing we called to be will be! Don't give up on what you spoke, but go on your way expecting what his Word says and you will have it! Your words shaped your life and has given you all that you have. So, since your words are that powerful, imagine if your words were God's Words. Imagine if you began to speak his Words over your life, over your children, over your home, over your marriage, or over your sickness. Try it. Once you begin speaking and believing, you will see that "as you go" you will have what his Word said! Have a Beautiful Day
Seven Blessings of the Tithe
Wisdom to Change Seven Blessings of the Tithe By Benny Hinn Recently while watching Pat Robertson on the 700 Club, the Lord put something on my heart that I want to share with you. Pat talked about the importance of the tithe, as mentioned in Malachi 3. While I was listening to him, I felt strongly that I needed to teach on the seven blessings of the tithe, too, for like Pat Robertson, I believe the tithe is very important to the Lord Jesus. First of all, Malachi 3:10 teaches: “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.” Then the Lord promises, “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts” (verse 11). SEVEN PROMISES In the next verse, the Lord gives us this most remarkable promise: “And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts” (verse 12). In this noteworthy portion of Scripture, we find the Lord’s command to bring “all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house.” The Lord clearly tells every believer that the tithe belongs to Him and His work. The Lord even challenges us to test Him: “Prove me now herewith” (verse 10). This is the only time in Scripture that the Lord makes that offer. That is one of the most amazing invitations we have ever been given by the Lord Himself; that we, as God’s people, can prove Him in this matter. Following His challenge in Malachi 3:10, He then begins to give us the seven most amazing blessings of the tithe: • “If I will not open you the windows of heaven” (verse 10). The windows of heaven always deal with revival. The Lord promises to revive every person who obeys Him. • “And pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it” (verse 10). Think about it! God Almighty declares clearly in His Word that the tither will be prosperous—so prosperous, in fact, that there will not be room enough to receive the prosperity and blessings God has in store for the one who obeys Him. • “I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes” (verse 11). Years ago when I taught on this subject in Orlando, I discovered that rebuke, to my amazement, means “to cripple” or “to paralyze.” God Almighty will actually cripple the enemy on your behalf when you tithe. The tithe is so important to the Lord that He promises to paralyze and cripple the enemy so that he will not be able to touch your life! Remember, the Lord said to prove Him. These things will happen, for this is the Word of the Lord! • “He shall not destroy the fruits of your ground” (verse 11). This means that the enemy, whom God has crippled on your behalf, will not be able to touch your finances. The “fruits of your ground” refers to your money. The enemy will not be able to touch your money as a result of your obedience to the Lord in the tithe. • “Neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts” (verse 11). It is remarkable that in John 15:5, Jesus said, “I am the vine, ye are the branches.” The vine, therefore, means the family, and God gives this amazing promise to the tither when He says that the enemy will not touch your family, if you obey the Lord. • “All nations shall call you blessed” (verse 12). In this most amazing blessing and promise, God will bless and prosper you so that the nations of the world will see the blessings of God upon you. In other words, you will be a mighty witness of the power and blessings of God. • “Ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the Lord of hosts” (verse 12). Delightsome means “highly desired.” As you obey the Lord with the tithe, God will so highly desire you that He will use you. These seven most amazing blessings of the tithe can be summarized: • You will have revival. • You will experience great prosperity. • The enemy will be crippled and will not touch your life. • Your finances will be safe. • Your family will be safe from the hand of the enemy. • You will be a great witness of the power and blessings of the Lord to the nations. • You will be highly desired, and God will use you for His glory! You Have Nothing to Lose
You Have Nothing to Lose Gloria Copeland Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him. Isaiah 3:10-11 Have you ever been afraid to give yourself totally to the Lord because you think you might be deprived of some pleasure in this life? Chances are, you have. That's because Satan is working overtime to convince you that he can really make your life worth living. But don't believe him for a minute. The real truth is, yielding completely to the Lord won't cost you anything that's worth having. It will only cause you to live life to its fullest! Jesus' life on earth was a perfect example of a totally yielded life. He was a walking example of the benefits godly living brings. Everywhere He went, Jesus made the deaf to hear, the blind to see, the lame to walk. He lived in perfect peace and absolute victory. That all sounds pretty good to me. All He missed out on was the devil getting dominion over Him to kill, steal and destroy. In fact, the devil couldn't do anything to Him until, by the Father's will, He laid down His life. Until that time Jesus walked in total victory over the enemy. Do you think you would miss out on a lot if you lived that way? Of course not! You can walk in that same anointing and power and glory of God that Jesus did. Do you have to give up your whole life to do it? Yes! You have to trade your life for the life of God. You have to trade your sickness for His healing, your poverty for His prosperity, your anxiety for His peace, your sin for His righteousness. So why hesitate? When it gets right down to it, you really have nothing to lose. Scripture Reading: Psalm 37:7-23 Have a Beautiful Day
Use Money for His Glory
Wisdom to Change Use Money for His Glory For it is the Father who gives you the power to get wealth, so that He may establish His covenant Deuteronomy 8:18 Some have much money, some have little, some love to save it, some love to spend it, some run after it, for others money just comes to them, but in all cases we all need money. Money is used to take care of the things we need in life. Money pays for bills, gas, electricity, food, clothing, rent, mortgages and a few of our favorite things. They say money is the root of evil, but if you read the Word of God closely you’ll find, loving money is evil. We should love God and use money to show His love towards them. My sister and I were given a 20 million dollar challenge. We had to write a plan before we started spending, paying off items and people to bless financially. Before we got started, we prayed to see which direction to go in. Some may say, you mean to tell me with all that money you had to pray and ask God how He would have you give, spend and handle the money. Yes! You may not realize it but 20 million dollars can go very quickly. With this much money you can be tempted to spend, spend, spend and not realize you have overspent. In all things you should have a God plan in place concerning finances. As you know we made sure the Father received the tithes and offerings, first. Next we had a plan to pay off all outstanding debt. But before we would pay them off, we would call and request a discount in paying the balances off. We then asked God which direction He would have us go concerning family and friends. To our amazement when we shared with each other, He told us not to give to some because they do not know how to handle it. Wow, God knows what’s best for each one of them. We even asked God how we could be a blessing without them knowing it was us. As you know God gave a divine strategy on how to bless individuals without them knowing who it was. In any case, if you receive a very large or not so large amount, you should always have a plan on how you handle God’s money. That’s right it’s God’s money. Money has a purpose and that purpose is to reveal God’s heart towards His people. Start with the money you have and make sure you have a plan to fulfill His purpose. Question: Are you a faithful and wise steward over the finances God has entrusted you with? Have a Beautiful Day
Should You Tithe if You are Struggling Financially?
Wisdom to Change Should You Tithe if You are Struggling Financially? Bring all the tithes into the storehouse Malachi 3:10 Things are tight, money is low, and this is the time to be giving for the gospel sake. God understands if I don’t give this time. When things get better, I’ll give when I have it. If I give the tithe, we won’t have food to eat. If I give the tithe our lights might go off. If I tithe, my car payment will be short. If I tithe, will God really come through? I can’t afford to give the tithes this time. We can’t afford not to give the tithe. Many people are questioning is tithe for today. If we love the Father, we shouldn’t have to question Him about the tithes. There should be no doubt that tithing is for today. When He says tithe, we ought to be glad that He provided us with the finances to take care of the needs in our lives. When we tithe, we are telling the Father, I love you Lord and I’m so glad to give what rightfully belongs to you. To give what rightfully belongs to God means He is making supernatural means to the pump of divine supply. He’s not trying to take from us; He’s trying to get something to us. The enemy will always tell us we just don’t have it to tithe or give. He may tell us, take care of our bills first, then whatever we have left give it to God. Maybe the enemy is telling us, those people just want our money. The enemy will try everything he can to get us not to tithe and give. Think about it, if the enemy is trying so hard for us not to tithe, then there must be something to it. Since the Father told us to tithe, then there must be something to this. The tithe is given to God from our increase, FOR OUR INCREASE. Give the tithe increase keep the tithe decrease. Tithe is the way we open the door of our finances to give and then receive God’s blessings. The joy in doing this from the heart is an expression of our trust in God to meet our every need. Have a Beautiful Day
Keep His Word
Wisdom to Change Keep His Word For I have given them the WORDS which You have given Me John 17: 8a Can a Word really change your situation? Yes a Word can. No really! I want to know can a Word, really change things for me? Yes, a Word can-God’s Word can change anything in your life. How is this possible? How can God’s Word turn things around in my life? It’s easy, just open your mouth, and speak what God’s Word says about your situation and watch things change. It can’t be that easy. Oh, but it is. We can speak words over anything in our lives for they contain the seeds to produce life or death. I didn’t call these words life or death, God did. He said LIFE and DEATH are in the POWER OF YOUR TONGUE! Seems like we got the power to speak a word or words and it will either bring life or death to any situation. In the Word of God, Jesus said our WORDS are seeds. Everyday we plant seeds with the words we speak. A seed is something that’s planted in soil to produce the results you want. For example, if you plant an apple seed in the ground; you will reap an apple tree with multiple seeds in those many apples on the tree. Wow, you can reap, year after year, over and over again and again. In this case, the seed you plant can be harvested for a life time, from the word or words you planted. Are you getting the picture? We need to speak only what we want to see come to pass. Our words truly have the power of life and death, so much so God created us in His likeness and image. We may not understand how a spoken Word can be planted and produce a harvest. It’s not for us to understand, it’s for us to believe and trust when we speak God’s words, those words will come to pass. Repent for speaking words of worry, fear and doubt. Speak only His Word. Remind yourself I must only say those things that will bring life and not death. Be careful when thoughts come to your mind, arrest them, dismiss them and think only on what God would say in your situation. Remember, the harvest we desire to come to pass in our lives, will only come by the seed words we choose to plant. Have a Beautiful Day

Truth Will Guide You
Wisdom to Change However, when the Spirit of Truth has come, He will guide you into all truth. John 16:13a I had a conversation the other day with my sister and she told me of a young lady trying out for a position through the county. She received a letter stating she was denied the position she applied for. Well, she set out to find out why she was denied. Upon review with the county’s personnel staff, in the past she received tickets and did not pay them on time which resulted in suspension of her license. The young lady with tears in her eyes realized her father told her to get her act together more than once. She did not listen. She listened when she wanted to make a change and make something out of her life. Her father revealed TRUTH, she rejected the TRUTH and now it has cost her. Eventually she will be able to apply for the position again, but for now she’s left thinking of how she would not hear TRUTH from the one who loved her. God said be a doer of the Word not just a hearer. When TRUTH is revealed we need to act on that Word immediately! Truth which is God’s Holy written Word will always lead you to greatness. Truth will never lead you down the wrong path. Truth will keep you if you choose to be kept. Truth says if we abide in God’s Word, we shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make us free. Free from what? Truth frees us from making the wrong decision, heartache, consequences, trouble and a whole lot of others things you don’t want. Truth helps us to see God’s goodness working in our lives. Truth when applied will help you serve God with your whole heart. Truth lets us know, don’t go that way, don’t make that business deal or anything that would cause decrease in your life. Truth will help you save money. Truth will help you discern fact from fiction. Truth will help you walk upright. Truth will step in to help you not sin against a Loving God. Truth applied to your life will cause you to live longer, stronger and in your right mind. Truth won’t let you doubt what God says because Truth makes you FREE! The Truth of the matter is, if the young lady listened and applied Truth to her life, she would have never been denied the position. Truth will always lead you to a path of peace, security, love, wisdom, understanding, mercy and grace. If you listen closely, Truth is God’s way of saying, I love you! Have a Beautiful Day
Prayer
Today, I talked to the Father to keep us in all our ways and to help us trust Him with our whole heart. Father, we acknowledge we become weary at times and doubt tries to fill our minds. Help us to just REST in You. In Your Word you tell us not to grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not faint. Father, you are faithful, who will establish us and guard us from the evil one. Today we shall rest knowing that you are faithful to take care of us. Forgive us when we don’t trust or take You at Your Word which says not to worry about our life. Not to worry about what we shall eat or put on-for You know our every need. Let our eyes stay focused on You as we seek Your face and not Your hand. You are our Shepherd and we shall not be in want or lack. You lead us besides still and quiet waters, restoring our soul and leading us in paths of righteousness. In quietness and confidence this shall be our strength. As we cast all our cares onto you Lord, You will sustain us and never allow us to be shaken. Thank You for giving us a peace that surpasses all understanding and a joy that’s full of Your glory. We trust that You are at work in our lives and even though the situation may look the same, we will remain in Your Love knowing as we speak to the mountain it shall be removed. It’s good to know that we can come to You and tell you what’s on our hearts and through your Word you speak life to our souls. Truly this is a good day and we will trust knowing that You are taking care of us. In the precious name of Jesus, Amen. May you see God's goodness and His love today. Have a Beautiful Day
Are You Faithful?
Wisdom to Change Faithful in all things 1Timothy 3:11b What does faithful mean? I found several words that really bring out the meaning of faithful. Faithful means adhering firmly and devotedly as to a person, cause, or idea, loyal, having or full of faith, worthy of trust or belief, reliable, consistent with truth or actuality. As we adhere firmly to God, devoted to him and him alone, having the God kind of faith, we will see consistent results as we belief and rely on the Father through His Word. Without fail, I know many of you reading this; have found God to be faithful in your life. Am I right? Well, has God found you to be faithful to him? Can God say this about us that we are faithful to His Word, faithful to believe in Him, faithful to live right, faithful to trust Him totally or faithful to resist the sin? Being faithful should be a way of life for us. It should come so natural; people want to know how we are able to do it? It’s our choice if we want to be faithful in serving and living for God. It’s our choice if we want to be faithful to His Word, faithful to obey when He speaks, faithful to pray and faithful to live a chaste, pure and committed life. And when we are faithful, there are benefits God wants to bestow upon us. If we are faithful we will abound in blessings. If we are faithful over a few things, the Father himself will make us ruler over many things. If we are faithful to hear, do and obey, God himself will command blessings to come upon us and overtake us in every area of our lives. So, you can image if we are not faithful to His Word, what comes with that. In Deuteronomy 7:9, you find a great example of God’s faithfulness towards us. Therefore we ought to know that the Lord our God, He is God, the Faithful God who keeps covenant and mercy for a thousand generations with those who love Him and keep commandments. God is faithful to keep His Word towards us and to our children's children on down to a thousand generations as we stay faithful and keep His commandments. Let me leave you with this thought, as long as you remain faithful to God and agree with Him it will always be good for your soul. Have a Beautiful Day
A Prayer to Make Wise Decisions
A Prayer to Make Wise Decisions Heavenly Father, I thank you that I have been granted a spirit of wisdom and revelation, and I have insight into your ways of doing things. You’re in Charge
Kenneth Copeland Thou [God] madest him [man] to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet. Psalm 8:6 There is a particular phrase I’ve heard spoken countless times over the years, and I like it less every time I hear it. No doubt, you’ve heard it too, usually in drawn out, religious-sounding tones—when circumstances seem to fall short of what God has promised us in His Word. “Well, Brother, you have to remember...God is sovereign.” As spiritual as that phrase might sound, it really bothers me. It’s not that I don’t believe God is sovereign. Certainly He is. According to Webster’s Dictionary, sovereign means “above or superior to all others; supreme in power, rank or authority.” Without question, God is all those things. But all too often, when people refer to the sovereignty of God, what they’re actually saying is, “You never know what God will do. After all, He’s all-powerful and totally independent, so He does whatever He wants whenever He wants.” The problem with that view of sovereignty is it releases us of all responsibility. After all, if God is sovereign, He will do what He wants anyway, so we might as well go watch television and forget about it, right? Wrong. After 41 years of studying the Word and preaching the gospel, I’ve come to realize that God does very few things—if any—in this earth without man’s cooperation. Even though it belongs to God—it is His creation and He owns it. According to Psalm 8:6, God Himself put mankind in charge. He doesn’t intervene in the affairs of earth whenever He wants. He respects the dominion and authority He has given us. So, until man’s lease on this planet expires, God restricts His power on the earth, taking action only when He is asked to do so. Since the people who do the asking (the intercessors) are often very quiet people who do their praying in secret, it may appear at times that God simply acts on His own. But regardless of appearances, the Bible teaches from cover to cover that God’s connection with man is a prayer and faith connection. When you see Him act in a mighty way, you can be sure there was someone, somewhere praying and interceding to bring Him on the scene. Scripture Reading: James 5:13-18
Be Willing!
Gloria Copeland If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land. Isaiah 1:19 A healthy body. Enough money to pay all your bills and extra to invest in the work of the gospel. A godly marriage and happy, healthy children. Peace of mind. God has prepared a banquet full of blessings for you. But those blessings are not just going to fall in your lap. You must be willing as well as obedient if you're going to eat the best from God's table. So, be willing! Don't be willing for Satan to put sickness on your body. Be willing, instead, to be well! In honor of Jesus' sacrifice at Calvary, refuse to accept anything less than divine health. Don't be willing to live in lack, but be willing instead to live in divine prosperity and abundance. Refuse to allow Satan to stop the flow of God's financial blessings to you. Be willing to receive God's best plan for your marriage and your children. Don't settle for the "norm" in the world. Live above it in a home full of love and harmony, a home that is what God meant it to be. Don't allow Satan to substitute anxiety and ulcers for the peace and undisturbedness that Jesus bought for you. Be willing and obedient to cast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you. Refuse to be robbed of the banquet of blessings that have belonged to you since you became a believer. Be willing to eat the good of the land! Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 8:5-20
Don't Tell It Like It Is
Kenneth Copeland
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Proverbs 18:21
Words are serious business. And, as believers, we need to get serious about learning how to use them. We need to begin to put them to work for us like God Himself does. The Bible tells us that He uses words to "call those things which be not as though they were" (Rom. 4:17).
Most of us don't have the faintest idea how to do that. We've spent our lives "telling it like it is." We've constantly used our mouths to report on the sorry state of affairs around us. Thus, the very thought of calling "things which be not as though they were" seems a little crazy.
"You mean I'm supposed to say, 'I'm healed' when I'm feeling sick? I'm supposed to say, 'I'm prosperous' when I'm penniless?" we say. "That sounds like lying to me."
No, no. There's a vast difference between lying and speaking by faith. A lie is meant to deceive someone. It's designed to make someone believe something that's not true. But to speak by faith is simply to speak words that agree with the Word of God instead of the circumstances around you. It's speaking from your spirit instead of from your mind.
As the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 4:13, "We have the same spirit of faith as he had who wrote, I have believed, and therefore have I spoken. We too believe, and therefore we speak" (The Amplified Bible).
Now that's important. Read that verse again. "I have believed, and therefore have I spoken."
There are some folks who speak the words, but they don't have the faith to back it up, and as a result, they fall flat on their spiritual faces. They didn't actually "call things that be not as though they were." They called things that be not the way they wished they were.
Those are two very different things. The words may be the same. But just wishing and hoping won't get the job done. You've got to "believe."
Begin today bringing both your tongue and your heart in line with the Word. Stop "telling it like it is" and start speaking and believing the promises of God. Put the power of words to work for you.

Faith Cometh by Hearing
Kenneth Copeland
Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 One of the greatest healing evangelists I’ve ever known once said to me, “I don’t understand it. I have laid hands on more than 2 million people. I’ve seen miracles of every description. But I’m the last guy in the world to ever get healed.” Just think, that evangelist had seen Jesus face to face more than once. His hand had been set on fire with the healing touch of God. But he couldn’t live on those experiences. He had to learn, just like you and I do, to walk one step at a time confessing, believing and standing on the Word of God. “Well, maybe that’s true,” you say, “but I still think I would have more faith if Jesus would appear to me like He did to that evangelist.” No, you wouldn’t. Jesus said, “Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed” (John 20:29). Blessed means “empowered.” So, according to Jesus, you’ll have more power if you’ll believe before seeing a physical manifestation. Why is that true? It’s because for you to believe something you don’t see with your physical eyes, you have to turn inward. You have to activate your spirit being. When you do that, the part of you that is like God rises up and gets stronger. Am I saying you should avoid the spectacular manifestations and displays of God’s power that are occurring around us in these final days? Absolutely not! Enjoy them to the fullest. Go to every meeting you possibly can. Be a part of the move of God. But don’t lay down your faith in the process. Keep standing on the Word, first and foremost. The Word will work when the gifts are flowing and when they’re not. The Word will work in the daytime and in the dark. The Word will work for any man, woman or child who will put it to work. It is eternal, settled in heaven and earth forever. Remember this: Faith—the everyday kind of faith you use for living—doesn’t come from moving in the gifts of the Spirit. It doesn’t come from seeing Jesus or having special visitations and experiences with God. It comes by hearing and hearing and hearing the Word of God. Scripture Reading: John 20:24-29
There is a Cure to Worrying
Wisdom to Change Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature? Matthew 6:27 I have the cure to stop worrying. No really, I do. It’s so simple you would have to be a fool to not get this. I couldn’t believe it when I came across it. It was so simple I couldn’t believe how come I did not see this. But let me warn you, whatever you do don’t say I’ve heard that before or I know that. If you do, you don’t have an open heart to receive the things of God. This is really a cure for worry. Just like a headache, we know to take a couple of pills for it, but what about worry. And the peace of God which passes all understanding shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Here's the cure to worry. Let the peace of God permanently keep your heart and mind THROUGH Jesus Christ. Declare that you will not worry but trust what the Father says in His Word. Think the right things. Keep your mind STAYED on God. Can you do this all throughout the day and meditate ONLY on those things that bring peace to your heart and joy to your soul. We have spiritual weapons that are at our disposable to combat any degree of worry. Have the God kind of faith. You know it did not worry God a bit when he saw darkness on the face of the earth. He opened His mouth and SPOKE to darkness and said light be. Live and walk in the Spirit. Do not cast away your confidence. And the golden nugget of them all, cast the care upon the Lord. Hey listen, He CARES FOR YOU. Did you hear me, HE CARES FOR YOU! Your Father does not want you sitting up or having sleepless nights worrying about anything, cast that care on Him. Give it to Him, release the worry and let it go. Why in the world would you want to keep something that causes damage to your body-stress, anxiety, dizziness, fatigue, headaches, irritability, nervousness, sweating, just to name a few. So you see, God has given us the cure to worrying, we just have to take a dose of His Word every single day in order to alleviate all symptoms. Have a Beautiful Day
It’s Best to use the right Material
Wisdom to Change
Let each one take heed how he builds; if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay or straw, each one’s work will become clear for the Day will declare it because it will be revealed by fire and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 1 Corinthians 3:10b,11,12,13
Have you ever watched the program “Extreme Makeover Home Edition”? I find the program very interesting. Ty and his team review the video of the family who needs a makeover, arrives with a megaphone waking everyone up and they walk through to see the conditions of the home. Next they send the family on their way for a well needed vacation. Now what amazes me is how they build the home in one week. They choose the right crew to build a home that will last with quality material. They even have many people on hand to help assist in completing the building of this home.
Our spiritual house is somewhat the same when it comes to building up our spiritual man. We will need an architect, construction crew, an inspector, welders and many others. The crew includes the Father, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, Angels, well grounded God fearing friends and the Word. Our spiritual house cannot be built by ourselves. That’s why the Father places people in our lives to help us in building with the right materials. To know if we are building with the right material, check the people you have in your life. Have you grown spiritually in the last year? Are you more sensitive to not sin against a Holy God? Do you recognize His voice when He speaks? Is there a difference in your conversation? Do you find yourself wanting to spend more time with Him? Do you have a desire to see more of His goodness in your life? Are you quick to ask the Father for forgiveness? Is there a strong desire to please Him more? If so, you are building with the right material.
To continue with our spiritual construction, we will build bridges in our lives for others to cross, for our life is a testimony to others. Make sure not to use wood, hay and straw, for they come easy-little work, little seeking and no travailing. Now if we want to build something that will endure, we will need the good stuff like gold, silver and precious stones. To find these materials we have to go searching for them, for they are not easy to come by. It’s not an easy task to search for these materials. There’s much digging in the Word, seeking the Lord’s face and a whole lot of travailing and laboring. In the end when it’s all said and done, the bridges we build in life will help other in their spiritual construction. It shouldn't matter if it takes awhile to find these precious materials, we are not alone. We have the best treasurer hunter in the universe with us-Jesus!

Forgiveness is a Payment
Wisdom to Change
Hereby we perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 1 John 3:16
I had a conversation with my cousin and it went something like this. She state I can’t forgive, they hurt me. I’ll never forget what they did to me. I’ll forgive but I won’t forget. I can’t get over this. This will take some time before I even let this go. For all those who know me, I heard loud and clear what the Lord was telling me to tell her and no beating around the bush went on here.
When you say you can’t, then you’re telling God his Word is not true. Because the bible I’m reading says I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. And to say you can’t forgive because they hurt me, doesn’t justify in not for forgiving. With His strength you can forgive anybody. If you’ve read 1st Corinthians 13th chapter, it tells you just how to walk in love towards those who hurt you. Love keeps no record of wrong. So you're not to hold on to it. It's not hard at all just ask God to help you keep your mind on things that are lovely, honest, pure and of a good report. Who are we to keep a record of everything someone has ever done to us? This is crazy, let it go! Everytime you don't let go, you're hurting Jesus by holding on to something that's meaningless. Hold on to the truth of His Word and love like Jesus loved, with His whole heart.
You say you’ll never forget but you’ll forgive. Well, well, well. The Father said he will have compassion upon us; eliminate our iniquities and cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. What the Father is saying is he threw everything into the depths of the sea and forgot about everything we've ever done when we asked Him to forgive us. What right do we have to hold things against people? They’re going on with their lives not realizing we're holding on to something that happened many years ago. Let it go! If we don’t forgive, neither will the Father forgive us. Not forgiving also causes setbacks in our lives. Remember in Mark the 11th chapter, Jesus was telling the disciples to have faith in God? He told them how they could speak to situations in their lives that looked like mountains and how they could remove them just by speaking to it. He also mentioned when they stand praying FORGIVE, if they have some things they’re holding on to. But if we don't forgive, NEITHER will the Father forgive us. Unforgiveness is what causes setbacks and unanswered prayers. As long as we don't forgive and come to the Father with our prayer request, our praying will be in vain.
Now, that’s serious. We have to forgive and forget. We have no right holding on to things which causes us to be bitter and resentful. Release it and let it go. It’s not worth your prayers being unanswered. It’s not worth going through life thinking about what they did to you. But it’s worth it all to forgive just like the Father forgave us. Jesus paid the price by giving His live as a ransom making total payment in full by saying, Father forgive them.

Don't Get In A Hurry
Don't Get in a Hurry Kenneth Copeland And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt...talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. ...and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. Deuteronomy 6:6-8 One of the reasons Gloria and I have seen the results we have in our lives and in our ministry is because when we realized what the Word of God would do, we literally immersed ourselves in it. We turned off the radio and television, we put down the newspaper, and spent nearly every waking moment of the time available either reading the Word, listening to tapes on the Word, or thinking about the Word. All that time in the Word eventually had a powerful effect on us. It began to revolutionize everything about us. It began to turn failure into success. All that didn't happen overnight, however. It took time. A great many believers don't realize that. They start out devoting themselves to the Word, but they make the mistake of expecting instant, miraculous results, and when they don't see them, they get disappointed and fall away. Don't do that. Be patient. Give the Word time to do its work. Jesus once said, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God" (Matt. 4:4). The Word of God feeds the spirit man just as bread feeds the body. Food has to be built into your body. The vitamins and minerals it contains have a cumulative effect on it, don't they? In fact, almost anything that affects your body instantaneously is considered dangerous. Much the same thing is true with the Word of God. It has a cumulative effect. Yes, at times God will act instantly and perform a miracle, but only to get things back on track. What He really intends is for you to feed on His Word to grow in strength and in faith and to bear fruit in due season. So don't get in such an all-fired hurry. Stay in the Word. Be patient. The results will come! Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 7:11-23

Keeping Your Appointment
Wisdom to Change
Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah 55:6
Have you ever had an appointment that was so important, you made sure everything was in order? You set the alarm clock to be sure to get up an hour and a half early so you’ll have enough time to eat, watch a few shows, get dressed and leave early before your scheduled time? The alarm goes off and instead of hitting the snooze button you get right up and prepare for your appointment. Off you go to your very important appointment.
I see you prepared the night before, set the alarm and the next day for the appointment, you get right up. No hesitation. Have you set an appointment with God? Have you set your alarm to get up and spend time with Him? When He comes with His gentle touch, do you pull the covers over your head and tell the Loving God, give me ten minutes? Or how about those who have their alarm clock or cell phones set to spend time with God? Do you keep hitting the snooze button and realize another day without spending time with Him? Isn’t this appointment with God important to you? Haven’t you been asking God to reveal things to you? Well, you can’t keep hitting the snooze button. Get Up! This appointment is very important. No, this appointment is vitally important. He has a lot to share with you and getting an extra ten minutes is not going to cut it. You have an appointment with God. Isn’t He worth preparing the night before and going to bed a little earlier? Isn’t He worth getting up bright eye and bushy tail? Well, isn’t He? Can you see it, God sitting there waiting for you to arrive and you don’t show up? The next day the same thing, next week, next month and the cycle repeats itself. Snooze, ok God maybe tomorrow.
Let me give you a key to keeping your appointment with God. Before you go to bed, tell yourself my appointment with God is very important. I can’t afford to miss out on what He’s going to show and tell me. And I’m going to have an experience with Him that will change my life forever. Don’t hit the snooze button remember He’s waiting to spend time with you.

Jesus is praying for US!
Wisdom tro Change
I pray for them; I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me; for they are mine John 17:9
The Father and Jesus were having a conversation. The Holy Spirit allowed me to hear what Jesus requested of the Father concerning us. It went something like this…
Father, the people are wandering what’s going on. Why must they go through test and trials? Father, I don’t want the people to get weary in doing well because in due season they shall reap. Well, Jesus what is your petition for the people.
Father give them a fresh anointing for today. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Help them stand perfect and complete in the will of you Father. May they increase more and more and abound in love towards one another. Give them a desire to please and reverence You in every area of their lives. May they bear fruit in every good work and increasingly grow in the knowledge of You. Strengthen them according to Your glorious power and may their lives express a joyful thanks to You. Manifest Your love that they may realize You love them with an everlasting love. Manifest Your peace in the mist of what they are going through. Manifest your power in a great way so there’s no doubt, it was the Lord.
Father I pray as they keep their minds stayed on Me, you will keep them in perfect peace. Anoint their eyes that they may see great things in Your law. Whatever they put their hands to, may they do it with Your might and strength. For in you Father they can do all things. May they set their face to seek You daily while You may be found. May they walk worthy of the calling in which You called them. Father, help them to know through Me they can do all things and nothing shall be impossible to them because they are Mine. May they realize the testing of their faith leads to perseverance which works to make them perfect and complete, lacking nothing.
Quicken them to know they are not without help for we have given them the Holy Spirit of promise. May they rejoice knowing they have a Helper to see them through this day and for them to realize today is a present from Us. Father I love them so much, help the to stand strong and remember I have chosen you and you are Mine.
PS. Go forth in this day knowing I am with you always.

Face Your Future with Confidence
Wisdom to Change
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength Isaiah 30:15
Many people today don’t know what there future holds. Some feel they don’t have a future, so they abandon their responsibilities. They can’t seem to go on for losing their homes, their jobs, cut back in hours causing decrease in pay, and some even losing their minds. Many people are fearful in facing their futures, fearful of the next day, fearful they won’t be able to provide for their families, just fearful. Why? They are looking with their natural eyes instead of looking at things with the eyes of faith. Where is your faith? Where is your confidence? Where is your trust in God? Don’t you know God is a good God and He’s willing to take care of your every need?
People this is not the time to be fearful. This is not the time to panic. Maybe you’re in a situation and you feel like running away from it all, but where will it get you? Nowhere! Remember the children of Israel? They wanted to return to Egypt. The Egyptians gave them food and shelter along with torment, hard labor and pain. The Israelites forgot how they cried out to the Lord for deliverance. And why would they want to go back to a lifestyle of hard labor, torment, heartache and pain? Why? I guess they realized they had to believe God for their every single need. We must realize the Lord is with us in the good, the bad, the ugly, the ups, the downs, situation, circumstances, test and trials. The time is now to face our future with the Lord in confidence. We need to remember how God delivered us out of every situation in our life.
As we take our position of confidence to fight the good fight of faith, no matter what we face today, no matter how hard it may seem, no matter how uncomfortable it gets, we can face anything with the Lord. Let’s face our future with the Word and with confidence in the Lord.
Wow, our future looks bright in Christ!

To Hear or Not to Hear that is the Question
Wisdom to Change
You who fear God, listen Acts 13:16b
Diligently hear, give your ear to hear, open your ear, lend your ear, he that has ears to hear let him hear, blessed are your ears for they hear, hear, hear and hear. The Father is saying over and over to hear, but are we really listening to what He is saying. When we read His Word it’s listening to Him talk to us.
There’s a passage in the bible were there was a rich man and a poor man. The rich man died and went to a place of torment. The rich man asked the Father could he send someone to his brothers so they won’t come to this place of torment. I found it amazing what the Father said to him. He said if they will not hear Moses and the prophets, they won’t be persuaded by one from the dead. While the rich man was alive he heard the laws, commandments and the prophets. The rich man thought he had time to get it right but eventually time ran out on him.
Hearing has rewards or consequences. Throughout the Word, if we hear and obey God said he will command the blessings on us. Here are a few of the blessings. He’ll command the blessings to set us on high for the blessing will come on us and overtake us; we’ll have complete victory over our enemies; we’ll lend and not borrow; we’ll be blessed in all the works of our hands; prosper in every area of life and to be blessed in ALL we undertake just to name a few. Now if we don’t want to hear and obey which is strictly our choice, here are the following consequences: serve our enemies, hunger, thirst, nakedness, want of all things, borrow and can’t pay it back, bondage, robbery of possessions, famine, great distress, no peace, no rest, complete poverty just to name a few. Conditions must be met if blessings are to be received and if conditions are not met, well you read for yourself.
God made it plain for us to hear and obey, but the decision will always be left up to us. Today, we should want to hear what God is doing in the earth. We should want to hear that God is well pleased with us. We should want to hear His wisdom to accomplish every task at hand. We should want to hear if we’re missing it in any area of our lives. Lord, we want to hear from you! Let your confession be I hear what the Spirit of the Lord is saying and I’m not confused in what I hear from Him.

Struggles versus Choices
Wisdom to Change
There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12
We all struggle with something. Struggle to exercise. Struggle to lose weight. Struggle to make the right decision. Struggle to tell the truth. Struggle to live right. Struggle to stick to your budget. Struggle to get up in the morning. Struggle to pray. Struggle to read the Word. Why do we struggle? We don’t have to, but it’s a choice.
After you read what struggle means, I hope you make the quality decision not to from this day forward. When we struggle, we exert energy against a material force or mass. We are strenuously engaged with a problem or task or undertaking. We make a strenuous effort, to contend, or progress with difficulty. Almost like in a combat. Now what about choice? A choice is the act of choosing, a selection. The choice to choose gives us the power, right or liberty, or an option. Another definition for choice is careful in choosing, superior quality, excellent and appropriate decision. Wait a minute, whoever wrote the definition for choice, must have known to write about making the right decision.
I don’t like the definition of struggle and you shouldn’t either. To be frank I don’t like to struggle. But I realize something, it’s a choice I make whether I want to struggle or make a choice to succeed in the decisions I make. The choice will always be left up to us. Here’s a choice in the Word of God, He said I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses, therefore CHOOSE life. How hard can this be? Life or death, blessings or curses, wow, it’s hard to choose. Which one will you choose? I’m not trying to be funny, but people don’t realize they do this everyday. Here’s an example of this. Say my husband and I have a verbal disagreement and everything inside of me wants to say something back. Now, I hear the Spirit of the Lord saying, “Don’t say a word”. But I choose to say something because I feel I must. Right there I chose death over life, curses over blessings. Like I said we do it everyday.
Again I say the choice will always be left up to us to do what’s right. We can choose to surrender all to Him or not but if we do, God is responsible for us. We are free to choose what we surrender to, but we are not free from the consequences of that choice. When we choose a life of integrity this moves us into an abundant life He has prepared for us. But also remember when we make a decision and believe me each of us know to choose good over evil, which ever one it is we will reap from our choices. Don’t let life be a boxing match, struggles versus choices. Be a master of your choices not a slave to struggles.

Life is good!
Wisdom to Change
Oh, taste and SEE that the Lord is good Psalm 34:8
How can you say life is good, with so many things going on in the world today? Well, I can say this with confidence because I keep my eyes on the Lord and no matter what I may face or what trial I may be going through, I know that the end is good. If I look at what I’m going through, I know I will get discouraged. But if I go to the Word and find out what it has to say about my situation, my focus will be different. Things look brighter in the Word.
An example of this is the prophet Elisha. He was surrounded by a great army and his servant came out to him fearful, afraid and worried because of what he saw. Elisha immediately told the servant, do not fear. Then Elisha prayed Lord I pray open his eyes that he may see. Well, the Lord opened the servant’s eyes and he saw the mountain full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. It’s was easy for the servant to panic because of what he saw, but because Elisha saw differently because he knew who to look to in order for the army to be defeated.
The servant and Elisha saw the same army surrounding them. How did Elisha see differently from the servant? Elisha had a trust beyond seeing. He kept his eyes on the Lord, instead of running and hiding. He was able to recall what the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob did for the children of Israel.
Are there things in your life you can recall which caused you to look at it differently? Can you recall an impossible situation which God turnaround because you changed your focus? Was there ever a time you were going through, then you picked up His Word and read a verse that spoke to you? If you said YES to all these questions, you can say life is good because you look at things through the eyes of Christ. As you continue in prayer and continue in His Word, you will see things changing for the better, but most of all you will see the goodness of God.

Read it Slow
Wisdom to Change
For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little. Isaiah 29:10
You hear many say you can read the bible in a year. Many bibles being printed today have a plan to read it in a year. But when you read one chapter in the morning and three chapters at night, do you really get the full understanding of it.
There’s one chapter in the bible that has one hundred seventy-six verses in it. Could you really read those verses in one setting and get an understanding of what the Father is saying to you? No, I don’t think we could.
When we read the Word of God, we need to take one verse at a time and study it, dissect it, meditate on it and find out what the word really means. I decided to take a verse in the bible and reflect on one word. The verse is from Habakkuk 3:18, Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will joy in the God of my salvation. I wanted to know what salvation means. Salvation means deliverance, victory, prosperity, freedom, health, ease, peace, soundness, perseverance and wholeness. When I took the time to find out what salvation means, I was amazed. Salvation has many meanings. I noticed in the Word of God, one word has many meanings.
I read other verses with salvation so I could get a better understanding of what it meant. The Father wants us to know that in salvation we have been delivered from death, hell and the grave. He has given us the victory to overcome the world. He wants us to prosper in our spirits, soul, body and mind. He has freed us from a yoke of bondage so we won’t be entangled again. We are FREE! Because of the stripes Jesus took on His back, we can walk in divine health. When we keep our minds stayed on Christ, He will keep us in perfect peace. I looked up the word soundness, to find out its meaning. It means a state or condition free from damage or decay. We can be rooted and grounded in the word, when things of the world try to sway us, it won’t work. For we have laid up the treasures of God’s word in our hearts, so when corruption, immorality, perversion or foolishness comes knocking, it won’t catch us off guard. In salvation we also have wholeness in our total being. The definition of wholeness is undivided or unbroken completeness or totality with nothing wanting. Wow, the Father has included all this in the salvation package. That’s why it’s important to study to find out every promise He has for us.
Next time we read the Word of God, let’s read it slow in order to get the full scope of what the Father is saying to us.

Recognize, it’s God Talking
Wisdom to Change
And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. John 8:32
In the morning, I enjoy talking to the Father, giving Him praise, telling Him of all the wonderful things He’s done in my life and how wonderful He is to me. This morning I had a conversation with my sister, which we will call insight and wisdom. She spoke about how to turn your hurt into a harvest. Well, this got my attention. I wanted to know how you can turn something that hurts or offend you into a harvest. I listened attentively to what she shared. I tell you, it was so simple; you have to be a fool to miss it. When we’re faced with heartache brought on by an individual or someone offends us in a way we want to retaliate, PRAY! Plant a seed of prayer. This is how you turn hurt into a harvest.
Recognize the Father telling you to pray for that individual. You may say I’m not praying for him or her, they have wronged me or Lord Get’em. It’s not our job to get back at them; it’s our job to pray. We all have been faced with that voice telling us to get them back or they deserve what’s coming to them. I hear you talking, but remember this when you plant one seed of revenge or retaliation, this seed will grow up into a big tree. Not only will it be a big tree, it will have fruit on it that you will reap from. Not only will it have fruit on it, but each fruit will have seed inside of it. So guess what, you will reap and reap and reap and reap and reap and reap for this is what you have planted instead of praying.
Let’s prevent heartache and pain in our lives. The Father will never tell you to do anything that will bring you shame. He will always tell us the right thing to do in order to bring rewards in our lives that will last a life time. Let me share something I tell my children. When you are exposed to the TRUTH, you are responsible for doing what is right. If you know to do right, but you chose to do wrong, you will be held at a higher accountability. You will never be able to say, I didn’t know. We are all at an age where we know right from wrong, up from down, hot from cold and stop from go. There will never be an excuse you can give to God when you have been exposed to the TRUTH.

I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns. Philippians 1:6 (LB)
"The moment you open yourself to Christ, Jesus begins to work in your life. "
It takes years for us to grow to adulthood, and it takes a full season for fruit to mature and ripen. The same is true for the fruit of the Spirit. The development of Christlike character cannot be rushed.
When you try to ripen fruit quickly, it loses its flavor.
While we worry about how fast we grow, God is concerned about how strong we grow. God views our lives from and for eternity, so he is never in a hurry.
The moment you open yourself to Christ, Jesus begins to work in your life. You may think you have surrendered all your life to him, but the truth is, there is a lot to your life that you aren't even conscious of. You can only give God as much of you as you understand at that moment. That's okay.
Once Jesus begins to work, he take over more and more of your life until all of your is completely his. There will be struggles and battles, but the outcome will never be in doubt. God has promised that "he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion." (Philippians 1:6, NIV)

Choose the Good Part
Wisdom to Change
But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her. Luke 10:42
In life many choose the path of obtaining money, cars, clothes, jewelry, looking for love and many other things. The enemy does everything he can to keep the focus on what we see and not what we should be focusing on-Jesus. He lies by asking us how we can pray for someone else when we ourselves are going through. We need more money, clothing, a car, I need, I need, boy do I need. We even focus on what people think about us, will he or she ever change, will I get the job I desire, will I ever find true love, will this relationship ever work out or will I ever see the light of day. We all have many questions that need an answer. But did you know the answer is right inside of you? You may ask what I mean. The answer has always been with you but the focus was wrong. You see, Jesus is the answer, has all the answers and He lives inside of you with the answer. Jesus is the good part.
In the Word of God, Martha was distracted, worried and troubled. Now that’s a triple whammy. Distracted, worried and troubled. Jesus told Martha one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part. You see that, Jesus said one thing is needed. We are created to enjoy a deep and intimate relationship with Him and yes things that we need to take care of is important, but they must never overshadow the fellowship He desires to have with each of us.
The good part is seeking Him; spending time in His Word; listening, and then obeying; praying for others and watching God take care of your needs. The good part is seeking first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and seeing all things be added to us. The good part is keeping our eyes on the prize which is the high calling of Jesus Christ. In all that we do, we should do it as unto the Lord and not to men, for this is the good part. Choosing the good part will always lead us to a path that’s everlasting and whenever we choose the good part answers will come, trust will grow, confidence will increase and peace will flow like a river.
Let’s choose the good part and watch God move on over behalf.

Is God Trying to Tell You Something?
Wisdom to Change
Listen carefully to Me Isaiah 55:2a
God will take all kinds of measures to get our attention to cause our faith to grow. What will it take for God to get your attention? God will get our attention with a restless spirit. You start to experience something deep within you can’t quite identify or explain. So, you ask the Lord are you trying to say something to me.
Sometimes God will get our attention by using others to speak to us. They might say something that causes you to think and then the light comes on. Have you experienced this? If so go to God and say Lord, what I heard really got me to thinking. Is there something that I must do?
Another way God will get our attention is through disappointment. Oh, no you got to be kidding me. Will God really use disappointment to get my attention? Yes He will. When Israel refused to take God’s instructions to possess the Promised Land, He judged them for unbelief. They quickly changed their minds but God said it was too late. Don’t let it be too late for you when God tells you to do something and you don’t move on it then you change your mind and say ok Lord. Hey, it’s too late. Don’t let this happen to you, hear, obey and do it quickly.
Maybe God may use financial trouble to get our attention. I know this is happening as we speak. God knows exactly what it will take to get our attention and if you are not a tither and a giver, what you are experiencing in your finances is just rewards. According to God’s system, if you don’t give the tithes how do you expect Him to bless you. Don’t try and fight me on this. If you don’t work for the company BBJ, how can you ask where is my paycheck. You can’t because you are not a employee on the payroll. God is the same way. How can He multiply you financially when you hold on to everything so tightly and never give according to what He says in the Word?
In closing, God knows exactly where we are in our journey of faith. He also knows what it will take to get our attention. The best thing we can do is stay alert and pay attention to things occurring or recurring in our lives. If they are, ask Him, want He wants to tell you and then listen, not just to hear what He is saying, but to obey.

How many could use some favor to restore some things in your life? How about favor for the greatest victories you have ever experienced in your life. Could you use some favor for supernatural increase? Well, I know I could. I need favor everywhere I go and with people I come in contact. I need favor in impossible situations to turn around for my good. I need this favor operating in my life all the time. So, how does this happen? There’s something we need to understand about favor. It’s not just for us to feel good when we’re blessed or when we receive favor in situations, but favor in our lives has a purpose. Favors purpose is for God’s glory to be shown in our lives so that others may believe in Him.
God wants to bestow His favor upon us so others may see His goodness towards us. There is much favor in the Word, so I choose a few verses which reflect the goodness of God. God said with favor I will surround you as with a shield. My anger is but for a moment but My favor is for life. My child if you don’t forsake mercy and truth, put them around your neck, write My commandments upon your heart, you will find favor and high esteem in the sight of your Lord and with man. Whoever finds Me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord. All who believed were together, had all things in common, sold their possessions and goods to be divided among all who had need, continued daily in one accord, had a heart of simplicity, praising God and having favor with all people.
Favor will show up in those difficult and impossible situations. And this will be the time God shows up and shows off to give us favor. If you’re dealing with an impossible person, God stands ready to give you favor. But do you believe He can touch the heart of impossible people? Do you believe He can make your enemies your footstool? Well if you do, proclaim the promise of favor in your life.
Father, today I believe for unusually favor. Unusually favor with impossible people and in difficult times. I thank you Lord, for favor with everyone I come in contact with. I believe the favor you have given me Lord, will bring a turn around in my life for Your glory. I proclaim this day Lord, favor in my life, favor everywhere and favor to accomplish every task at hand. Lord, you will bless the righteous and with favor You will surround me as with a shield. I receive the favor of God and I walk in favor today. Amen
Have a Beautiful Day
