Wisdom to Change
For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest you shall be saved; In quietness and confidence shall be your strength Isaiah 30:15
Many people today don’t know what there future holds. Some feel they don’t have a future, so they abandon their responsibilities. They can’t seem to go on for losing their homes, their jobs, cut back in hours causing decrease in pay, and some even losing their minds. Many people are fearful in facing their futures, fearful of the next day, fearful they won’t be able to provide for their families, just fearful. Why? They are looking with their natural eyes instead of looking at things with the eyes of faith. Where is your faith? Where is your confidence? Where is your trust in God? Don’t you know God is a good God and He’s willing to take care of your every need?
People this is not the time to be fearful. This is not the time to panic. Maybe you’re in a situation and you feel like running away from it all, but where will it get you? Nowhere! Remember the children of Israel? They wanted to return to Egypt. The Egyptians gave them food and shelter along with torment, hard labor and pain. The Israelites forgot how they cried out to the Lord for deliverance. And why would they want to go back to a lifestyle of hard labor, torment, heartache and pain? Why? I guess they realized they had to believe God for their every single need. We must realize the Lord is with us in the good, the bad, the ugly, the ups, the downs, situation, circumstances, test and trials. The time is now to face our future with the Lord in confidence. We need to remember how God delivered us out of every situation in our life.
As we take our position of confidence to fight the good fight of faith, no matter what we face today, no matter how hard it may seem, no matter how uncomfortable it gets, we can face anything with the Lord. Let’s face our future with the Word and with confidence in the Lord.
Wow, our future looks bright in Christ!
Have a Beautiful Day
