Wisdom to Change
Thank you Lord is not enough
Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift 12 Corinthians 9:15
But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ 1 Corinthians 15:57
Tom received a call that literally shook him. He told Helen and asked what are we to do? She told Tom lovingly; trust God to work it out. He did not want to hear that. He told Helen face reality, God is not going to come down from heaven and give you the money we need. It’s not going to happen. Helen kept her thoughts to herself. She knew she could go to God and he would do it. Early the next morning, Helen went before God. She reminded Him of the covenant she has with Him. The promises of taking care of her and rewards for those that diligently seek Him. She chose not to cry, complain or murmur but trust God to do it.
Later that day, Helen went about her daily duties and spoke to her prayer warriors to keep her in their prayers. One of the prayer warriors called to remind her of what she told God. You told God you want your life to be a testimony to others that they may see and know that He is real. When Helen was reminded of those words, she became excited knowing this situation will be a testimony.
Round about noon day when Helen had to leave to take care of some matters, God opened a door that brought financial gain into her life. You see Helen was facing a landlord that allowed his house to go into foreclosure and told her husband they have to get out in two days. Helen then turned to God to remind him of the covenant they have together. God then used someone to take care of the need in a big way. Now Helen and her family are in a bigger and better home.
God can do what you believe He can do. If you believe He can provide, don’t allow doubt, unbelief or reasoning to come to mind. Trust that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Trust and obeying will bring the blessings your way.

A Day of Prayer
Wisdom to Change
Pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17
Why do we recognize a specific day to pray when the bible says pray without ceasing? Pray without ceasing doesn’t mean we should walk around all day mumbling prayers. Not at all! This means we are to live in a constant attitude of prayer as we go about our daily routines. When we develop a life of prayer, it becomes our first instinct when challenges come up.
God listens to every prayer. He is very interested in every aspect of your life. Your loving Father invites you to pray about whatever concerns you, interests you, confuses you, frightens you, or in any way touches or challenges your life. Whatever it is a lost set of keys or forgotten information that needs to be mentally retrieved both are worthy requests.
God has called us to be a people of prayer. When we communicate on this level it creates an intimate fellowship with the Savior. Through prayer we discover the goodness and faithfulness of a loving God. He hears every prayer no matter where we pray, just be sure to pray.
Prayer is life’s greatest time saver. It’s a saver of heartache, pain, discouragement, restlessness, unforgiveness, worry and doubt. Only through prayer can we tap into the limitless resources of God. And it’s only by praying can we see His promises fulfilled in our lives. Have you been praying on a daily basis? If not, start today to make prayer a way of life.

Ultimate Trust
Wisdom to Change
But as for me, I TRUST in You, O Lord, I say You are my God. Psalm 31:14
David faced a giant in his life head on, but he did not face the giant alone. He told the giant you come to me with a sword, a spear and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel. David went on to say the Lord does not save with sword and spear, for the battle is the Lord’s and HE WILL give you into my hand.
You talk about boldness. David’s confidence in God caused him to have an ultimate trust in Him. Do you believe God is with you while you maybe facing giants in your life. Maybe we’re facing giants of debt and lack, or maybe a giant of sickness, how about loud talking giants of doubt and unbelief. These giants taunt, frustrate, aggravate and make things look bigger than they really are. There are many giants we face in life, but one thing I can say for sure; we can face our giants in confidence and an ultimate trust in God. To develop confidence and trust in God only comes through spending time and developing a relationship with Him.
Listen if you need to have that ultimate trust in God, be courageous enough to stand your ground with the Word. The same God that help David fight is the same God of today. We fight our battles with our words. Our words either condemn or justify us. When we are faced with giants, we need to open our mouths and say something. We need to pray according to the Word of God. We need to act like the victory has already been won. Hallelujah!
To win in today’s battles, start recalling past victories of God’s faithfulness to you. When you recall how God helped you in the past, it only reminds you that the battle has already been won.

More Word On Marvelous Monday
Rich Rewards
Gloria Copeland
Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14
Holiness is living unto God. Unlike the world’s way of living, holiness isn’t easy. You can’t just coast along doing what everyone else is doing and be holy. It takes determination. It takes effort. It takes submitting yourself to God when, naturally speaking, you might want to do something else.
But the rewards are tremendous.
Hebrews says that without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. Does that mean if you’re holy, you will see Him? Yes!
Jesus Himself said, “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him” (John 14:21).
In other words, if you live the way I’m talking about right now—doing things that are pleasing to God—Jesus will reveal Himself to you. He can become so real to you through the Word, that it will be as if He’s standing right in front of you. You can be closer to Him than you are to your best friend.
That, in itself, would be reason enough to live a holy lifestyle. But the Bible promises even more rewards!
According to 1 John 5:18, the devil can’t touch you. Can you imagine what life would be like if the devil couldn’t touch you? Well, that’s the way God wants your life to be. He wants you so free that Satan can’t hurt you in any way.
First John 3:21 says that if our hearts condemn us not, then we have confidence before God.
Do you know why so many people’s prayers fail to be answered? It’s not because God doesn’t do His part. It’s because the people had no confidence when they went before God in prayer. They couldn’t ask in faith because their hearts condemned them.
Deep inside, you know whether or not you’re giving God top priority—whether or not you’re living a holy lifestyle. Trust me you know. Make a decision today to be holy. Make a decision to live unto God. The rewards will be rich.

Sometimes I wonder?
Wisdom to Change
For as he thinks in his heart so is he. Proverbs 23:7
I wonder can this situation really change. I wonder will I find true love. I wonder can I really stand on the Word of God and see a change. I wonder why I am here. I wonder about this life I am living. I wonder about a lot of things. Sometimes, I just wonder.
We all wonder. We wonder who what, where when and how. We wonder about a lot of things, but did you know the Word of God is a wonder. An awesome wonder! A wonder to behold! If you wonder will your situation change, yes, there’s a promise He gave if you trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not to your own understanding and in all your ways acknowledge Him, He will direct your path. If you wonder will you find true love, yes, there’s a promise He gave delight yourself in the Lord and HE WILL give you the desires of your heart. If you wonder can you really stand on the Word of God and see things change, yes you can. His word says if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to the mountain be removed, cast into the sea and it shall be removed. It’s a wonder when you speak what His word says it builds confidence and trust that only comes through Him. It’s a wonder how God can bless you when there’s lack all around. It’s a wonder I’ve never seen God, but I know without a shadow of doubt that He’s real. He’s the air you breathe. He’s the pep in your step. He’s a wonder to behold. He’s real you must know. He’s here; He's there, your God is everywhere. He’s your strength in the troubled times and your joy in times of pain. He rains on the just and unjust all the same. Trust and obey Him to make everything ok. Praise and shout to get the doubt out.
If you begin to wonder, worry and doubt, just open your mouth with an attitude of gratitude and watch all your worries, doubts and fears all flee. Think on His goodness and trust in Him knowing he is working it out for your good.
