A Key to Change the Situation

Wisdom to Change

I will be glad and rejoice in Your mercy, for You have considered my trouble; You have known my soul in adversities and have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place. Psalm 31:7,8

Can we have a positive attitude when something is not going our way or something tragic happens? Will we allow situations and circumstances dictate our feelings? Do we even know how to respond to certain things that rattle or shake us at the very core of our being? Well, the Father has an answer for every tough or tragic situation we may face in life.

How many remember Job in the bible? Well, Job had tragedy after tragedy. He lost his family, servants, cattle, health and wrestled with the question, why?

Job dealt with many different emotions such as grief, anger, hurt and pain. His wife even added to his hurt. She asked him, do you still hold fast to your integrity? Curse God and die! Wow, what a blow. She didn’t even encourage Him to stand and seek the Lord. Job responded you speak as a foolish woman speaks. He even went on to tell her, shall we indeed accept good from God and shall not accept adversity? Right there Job was letting us know, WE WILL have good times and not so good times. It depends on how we respond to it.

There’s a purpose in everything we experience in life, but in order to get to the land of milk and honey we will have to go through things. Do you think for one minute the enemy is just going to give it to you on a silver platter? No, we have to fight for it and that’s just what Job did. He fought for his friends through prayer, took his eyes off his situation and watched God give him twice as much. It all has to do with how we view the problem and react to it. Whatever you do, don’t let IT (the situation) dictate to you, but you dictate to IT (the situation).

Have a Beautiful Day
