Ultimate Trust

Wisdom to Change

But as for me, I TRUST in You, O Lord, I say You are my God. Psalm 31:14

David faced a giant in his life head on, but he did not face the giant alone. He told the giant you come to me with a sword, a spear and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel. David went on to say the Lord does not save with sword and spear, for the battle is the Lord’s and HE WILL give you into my hand.

You talk about boldness. David’s confidence in God caused him to have an ultimate trust in Him. Do you believe God is with you while you maybe facing giants in your life. Maybe we’re facing giants of debt and lack, or maybe a giant of sickness, how about loud talking giants of doubt and unbelief. These giants taunt, frustrate, aggravate and make things look bigger than they really are. There are many giants we face in life, but one thing I can say for sure; we can face our giants in confidence and an ultimate trust in God. To develop confidence and trust in God only comes through spending time and developing a relationship with Him.

Listen if you need to have that ultimate trust in God, be courageous enough to stand your ground with the Word. The same God that help David fight is the same God of today. We fight our battles with our words. Our words either condemn or justify us. When we are faced with giants, we need to open our mouths and say something. We need to pray according to the Word of God. We need to act like the victory has already been won. Hallelujah!

To win in today’s battles, start recalling past victories of God’s faithfulness to you. When you recall how God helped you in the past, it only reminds you that the battle has already been won.

Have a Beautiful Day
